The Norwegian low-cost carrier Norwegian has just released their new years sale for Swedish and Danish citizen aiming to get them to buy some cheap tickets within their network from the low price of 29 Euro.

The sale is currently ongoing and is running until Thursday 16th January or until the tickets are sold out for the low price offered. The flights departure are between 28th January and 26th October making it possible to plan and book cheap tickets for the summer holidays.

Flights departs from Stockholm, Gothenburg, Visby, Karlstad, Malmö, Umeå, Luleå and Copenhagen.
Tickets are available in a limited amount.

Norwegian is offering also free WIFI onboard during the flight so you will be able to do the last at work or check your mail on the way to your destination. CNN tested the WIFI earlier this year in a story

The prices are for one-way ticket including taxes and fees.

If you would like to visit Stockholm also known as “The Capital of Scandinavia” in Sweden then this is something for you.

If you fancy to visit the home of IKEA and try the famous Swedish meatballs then this is a great deal for you. Currently you can book a return flight to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, from San Francisco with United Airlines for only 762 USD return with all taxes.

The price is for travels taking place from 9th January to 21st March 2013 with departures from US on Sunday to Thursday and returning from Sweden on a Monday to Thursday.  When it comes to continental travels you should use the excellent site ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and flexible month search to see ticket availability. Also please enable advanced routing codes and enter “ua+” on both outbound and return fields to search for United Airlines’ availability.
Tickets must be booked before 27th November on www.united.com and use the dates that you found in the ITA Matrix search.

But if you rather would like to visit the south of Scandinavia then the Scandinavian flag carrier SAS offers a return flight to the capital of Denmark for the low 771 USD return. Just as the Stockholm deal the price is for travels taking place from 9th January to 21st March 2013 with departures from US on Sunday to Thursday and returning from Sweden on a Monday to Thursday.  The routing will be SanFran to Newark to Copenhagen. The leg between SanFran and Newark is operated by United and then you will switch to SAS who operates the Newark and Copenhagen leg. As SAS is a member with Star Alliance just as United is, you will get full mileage credited to you if you are signed up for either bonus programs.

As mentioned above you should use  ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and flexible month search to see availability of the tickets. Also to enable advanced routing codes and input “sk+” to search for SAS.

The low-cost carrier RyanAir is currently having several ticket available from the leg Stockholm-Skavsta to their hub in Warsaw, Poland.  Several dates are available in December for 2 Sek or 0.25 Euro one-way meaning that a return ticket can be bought for as low as 4 Sek or 0.5 Euro.

For example are tickets for departure available 1st to 8th of December
Depart on Saturday 1st December and return on Tuesday 4th December.
The amount of tickets are of course limited so you should book quickly.

The well-known low-cost carrier RyanAir is currently offering cheap flight tickets from their hub in Budapest. You can reach Gothenburg, The second largest city in Sweden situated on the west coast, for the very low price of 0.5 Euro for a return ticket.

This is only available for flights departing in December and the price is valid when paying with Mastercard Prepaid. Otherwise the price is 2.5 Euro one-way which is still cheap.

Other flights available for 2.5 Euro one-way are Brussels, Eindhoven, Frankfurt Hahn, Milano, Rome, Stockholm and Warsaw.

Departing from their Gothenburg hub you can get a one way ticket to Budapest for as little as 18 Sek or 2.1 Euro including taxes and fees.

If you instead depart from their hub in Stockholm/Skavsta/Nyköping then you can reach the capital in Poland, Warsaw for 2 Sek (0.25 Euro) or to Krakow for 3 Sek (0.35 Euro).
If you wanna fly to Budapest then you would have to pay 44Sek (5 Euro)

And if you are closer to their Malmö hub then you can fly to Wroclaw in Poland for 109 Sek (12.6 Euro)
