air asia promotion

Cheap tickets are available again with Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia who yet again will start a Free seat promotion where you only pay the taxes for the flights.

The promotion starts Monday the 14th January at 17:00 CET (15th Jan 00:00 in Malaysia)
No more information has been released yet but expect a lot of cheap tickets on 85 destinations to 20 different countryies across their network.

As soon as we have managed to get hold of more information we will post it.

The asian low-cost carrier Tiger Airways has just launched their new “tigerconnect” campaign which offers up to 50% off on the normal ticket prices depending on the destination.
Tickets available are limited and needs to be booked before 16th January with travel dates between 1st March and 31st May depending on the destination.

Cheap tickets are easy to book with the Asian branch of JetStar.
They have just launched a new sale called “Travel More Often Sale” where you can get really cheap flight tickets and pay from 59 RM for a one-way ticket including the taxes.

As usual when it comes to these sales the tickets are limited and are sold until 11th January or until sold out.

A few examples are

  • Kuala Lumpur – Singapore from RM59 (one way Economy Starter^)
  • Penang – Singapore from RM89 (one way Economy Starter^)
  • Kuala Lumpur – Beijing (via Singapore) from RM552 (one way Economy Starter^)

The Economy Starter fares only allows carry on luggage. If you wanna bring a check-in bag you will have to add an additional RM35-RM225, per passenger, per fare, for a 15kg-40kg checked baggage. The price on check-in luggage is depending on the weight of the bag.

AirAsia, the Malaysian based low-cost carrier, will be offering 10,000 free air tickets under the 1Malaysia Integration Programme that was launched last week. The tickets are for routes between Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia.

However the airport taxes will be applied to the tickets but the flight and fuel surcharge are not applied to the ticket. Baggage, in-flight meals, seat selection and other added value services are not included either in the free tickets.

Bookings for the free seats are open to all Malaysians with valid MyKads.

The free tickets are valid for flights departing from :

  • Kota Kinabalu, Labuan, Sandakan, Tawau (Sabah)
  • Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Bintulu (Sarawak)
  • Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru (Peninsular Malaysia)

The booking starts on 9 January 2012  and goes on for 24 hours or until all tickets are given out.
The tickets are valid for flights departing between 14th January and 4th February.

Another promotion from AirAsia, the Malaysian based low-cost carrier, kicked off today.
Cheap flight tickets will be available in a certain amount to book until 13th January with flight dates between 1st march to 31st May.
